Hey Guys,
Not Much to report on the game side today, and some of you may get annoyed that you just clicked my blog expecting to read about me reaching Lvl 90 etc, but i havent yet logged on to game to break my level cap. Im taking a much needed vacation from the game, will be popping online from time to time to catch up with some friends and make Dynamis runs, but other than that not much to report.
I spent a day in the Snow with my buddies down in England, and well.... we dont get too much snow, so when we got our 7-8 Inches of it. We just couldnt resist......

Hey Bloggers,
It's been a while since i played FFXI, and well for some reason, i dont care that much, i logged on the other day and literally /shutdown straight after. Quite a few of my good friends on the game have left due to the game becoming "Broken" and reading the new update im not entirely happy with how the games turning out, i hate to be a downer but...... we will have to see, Ive been very busy since September doing Sports Diplomas and other things. I dont think i will be playing until the new year, after they fix a few things in the game. So until then, uncomfortably this may be my last post.
Enjoy playing you guys. and i will miss you guys.

Hey Bloggers.
Just another video of me messing around on Puppetmaster, begining to enjoy it, but the daunting level cap to 99, means this is going to be a beast to solo all the way up to 99. oh well we will have to see. This is a video demonstrating some of the uses of DAD(Deactivate,Activate,Deploy), i will be doing another video, this is just footage of me messing around on my PUP. hope you enjoy it. ^^

Redmage Paladin Test Garuda Prime Solo
0
comments
........ Redmage *cough* Paladin *cough* Garuda Solo.
I know what you must be thinking, redmage paladin really? but i like playing with this combination, and to mention the best part, i dont waste monies on shadows. Im not saying its the most effective sub-job, but i think it should possibly be considered for some things. I recently posted a video of me testing the sub-job out with Titan, and Ive had this footage building up for a while, so i thought i would clear some HDD space, and let you all enjoy it. So heres me kicking the shit-aru out of Garuda on RDM/PLD. Enjoy.

Got my Paladin up to level 40 Last night, and i couldnt resist going to test RDM/PLD on Titan, poor guy, oh well heres a little video. Youtube might cut of the music :(, dont know why, but enjoy guys.

Been trying to level my support roll jobs up to 49, because we all know the level cap is coming again later this year, perhaps just before christmas. Certain jobs i need to level are BLM PLD and NIN. So i started with Ninja, its currently at 44, and i decided last night, while i had no party invites, that i would get the AF weapon out of the way, and for a bit of fun. So heres the video, please enjoy ^^

20 in Pirate Years
- With your main job as Ninja, speak with Ryoma in Norg at H-8 in a small corner at the dock overlooking the water, for a cutscene.
- Head to Port Bastok and talk to Kagetora in Warehouse #2, just across from the Airship dock, who will send you off to find Ensetsu, located at (I-5) in the northernmost house east of the warehouse.
- Note: If you have the quest Chasing Dreams active, and are on the sixth step in the quest (when you must trade fiveEastern Gems to Patient Wheel), you will have to talk to Kagetora a few more times until he gives you the correct cutscene.
- Ensetsu provides additional background and sends you to Eastern Altepa Desert to investigate.
- Head to the border of H-5/H-6 in Eastern Altepa Desert, clear the area, and click the ??? when your party is set.
- Two NM spiders named Tsuchigumo will spawn. (see testimonials)
- You do not need to be a Ninja to spawn the NMs and get the Key Item.
- Both spiders, if not engaged, will despawn after about five minutes.
- The spiders are immune to sleep but they will spawn unaggressive if the ??? is checked under the effect of Sneak.
- You must kill both spiders, even if using the Sneak method to spawn them. Only killing one will result in a "There is nothing out of the ordinary here" when re-examining the "???" on the ground.
- After you kill both Tsuchigumo, re-examine the ??? and you will receive a Trick Box.
- Return to Port Bastok and talk to Ensetsu (optional)
- See talk page for the two sentences you may skip to save a trip.
- Head to Norg and speak with Ryoma to complete the quest.
Was rolling around, doing my day to day shit, and Lordwolf screams that Simurgh is up, he wants the trotter boots i believe that is dropped from the NM, was a pretty fun fight, when i could land a hit on it. Heres the video. Peace

Title Obtained: Simurgh Poacher
Notes (Rolanberry Fields)
- Timed Spawn around the pond at (D-11) (outside the exit from the basement of Crawlers' Nest) every 21-24 hours after its last Time of Death.
- Uses Mighty Strikes and Draw In.
- Casts Horde Lullaby, Massacre Elegy, and Magic Finale.
- Possesses high accuracy and extremely high evasion, but low attack.
- Highly susceptible to most, if not all, enfeebling effects, including Blue Magic equivalents. Appears to be especially susceptible toice-based effects such as Paralysis.
- Will Rage 20 minutes from when it was claimed.
- Can be defeated by an alliance of 12 characters at level 60, a party of 4 characters at level 75, and by some combinations of 3 characters at level 75. (see testimonials)
Notes (Nyzul Isle)
- The Armoury Crate it leaves behind contains ??? Footwear, which may rarely appraise into Trotter Boots.

Walkthrough
- Head to Sealion's Den and click on the "Iron Gate" for an airship fight.
- The battlefield has a Level Restriction at 85, so TP and all buffs are removed upon entering the battlefield.
- The time limit for this fight is 30 minutes.
- There is no EXP loss upon death.
- 1000 experience points upon winning will be rewarded (but only once per day).
- You cannot enter and assist in this fight unless you either are currently on this mission or have previously won this fight.
- See the Discussion page for Strategies and Testimonials.
- Make sure your whole party is ready (you cannot exit from this battlefield event, unlike in 6-4).
- You will enter the Battlefield facing Tenzen (SAM) and the three Tarutaru Chebukki siblings: Makki-Chebukki (RNG),Kukki-Chebukki (BLM) and Cherukiki (WHM). You only need to defeat Tenzen to win the battle; the Chebukkis are invulnerable, evading all attacks and resisting all spells. They will attack and enfeeble you, and buff and cure Tenzen as they do so. They all act about once every 20 seconds though, but will taunt and jeer you throughout the battle.
- Kukki-Chebukki casts Firaga II, Thundaga II, Waterga III, Blizzard III, Thunder III, Choke, Burn, Frost, Rasp, Blind,Bio III, Stun, Drain, Sleepga, ? (so level 66-68)
- Cherukiki casts Cure IV, Cure V, Regen III, Haste, Protect IV, Shell III, Silence, Paralyze, Slow, Diaga II, Holy, Banishga II, ? (so level 66-67)
- It seems that they link with Tenzen, so they will attack the first person to engage Tenzen until that person dies; you may want someone other than your main tank to engage first and get the Tarutarus' attention.
- A Beastmaster jug pet is ideal for this; if the pet is the first thing to attack Tenzen, the Tarutaru will all focus on attacking the pet, and the pet will run over to them to fight back so that your party isn't hit by the -ga spells.
- Tenzen uses a Great Katana and a bow for ranged attacks. He switches between them periodically.
- His weapon skills are different from the ones players use:
- Amatsu: Kazakiri (Tachi: Jinpu variant, ~200)
- Amatsu: Torimai (Tachi: Enpi variant, 2 hits, ~250)
- Amatsu: Yukiarashi (Tachi: Yukikaze variant, ~400 + Blind)
- Amatsu: Tsukioboro (Tachi: Gekko variant, ~500 + Silence)
- Amatsu: Hanaikusa (Tachi: Kasha variant, ~1000 + Paralysis)
- Amatsu: Tsukikage (~500, closes Cosmic Elucidation)
- Oisoya (bow, ~2500, ignores Utsusemi; possible Namas Arrow variant)
- He also never "readies" weapon skills, he just uses them, which makes them hard to stun.
- Tenzen will eat a Shogun Rice Ball at some point. This will improve his Attack, Defense, and Magic Defense considerably.
- Often this happens after he uses Meikyo Shisui the first time.
- Tenzen will use Meikyo Shisui at some point, and then begin to to self-Skillchain whoever has hate. After an initial 3 WS, Tenzen may or may not use Amatsu: Tsukikage, an unavoidable ranged Great Katana WS that bypasses shadows, triggering the Cosmic Elucidation Skillchain which deals over 1000 damage to all players in range and triggers ejection from the BC, much like the Snoll Tzar encounter.
- Whether he uses Amatsu: Tsukikage does NOT depend on whether his 3rd Meikyo Shisui WS lands. Even if 3rd WS misses, or original target is dead, he may still use WS Amatsu: Tsukikage and it will STILL trigger Cosmic Elucidation.
- He can use Meikyo Shisui multiple times at will.
- Utsusemi blocks most of his Weapon Skills, and it is possible to recast Utsusemi: Ni between his WS.
- His second Weapon Skill often takes 2 shadows.
- Tenzen's weapon skills can be anticipated with Third Eye, including Amatsu: Tsukigage.
- Tenzen's Weapon Skills can be delayed by using stun spells or abilities, but since he doesn't "ready" them, it can be hard to detect.
- A Level 75 RDM/DRK Chainspell+Stun strategy is not recommended. When executed by a merited 75 RDM/DRK with cap dark magic skill, Tenzen still continued to weapon skill. RDM/WHM is a more efficient use as a backup healer.
- One or more Blue Mages spamming Head Butt has a very good chance at killing the skillchain altogether.
- Tenzen will give up when he's close to being defeated, at which point you will win. It is estimated you will need to do between 12,000 and 14,000 damage. He will give up at roughly 15% HP remaining.
My Quest for sea continues, i finally got it today. heres a video of COP 7-4, please enjoy. i think its quite a good edit. Mission walk through below. Had pretty good fun putting this video together, well i say that it wasn't like i spent hours on it, just under twenty minutes. Good Day ^^

Walkthrough
- You will now have to kill three NMs. They can be done in any order and all are uncapped.
Bibiki Bay
- Head to Bibiki Bay and find the ??? at F-6 inside a cave.
- Buff up and select the ??? to spawn a NM Sea Monk named Dalham.
- Dalham seems to be about level 72, judging from how it hits and takes damage from local pets.
- The number of attacks this monster gets each round increases as his HP drops.
- He will start the fight with normal attack speed, only hitting once per round.
- As his HP drops to about 70% a "2-Hour" animation will trigger and he will begin attacking twice per round.
- At about 40% he will use the "2 Hour" animation again, and begin attacking 3 times per round.
- He will use it once more around 10~15%, attacking at near Hundred Fists speed.
- Builds resistance to Bind and Gravity extremely quickly.
- Cannot be slept.
- Has an Additional Effect: Water damage for about 21~ damage on a THF75.
- After it is dead click the ??? again for a cutscene.
Carpenters' Landing
- Head to Jugner Forest (J-8) and enter Carpenters' Landing. The ??? is at I-9 on the edge of the water to the northwest of the docks.
- Buff up and select the ??? to spawn a NM Cryptonberry Executor (NIN)
- After you pop the Cryptonberry Executor pull him to the dock at the South Landing (J-10) before doing any damage and you will gain no Enmity from the Cryptonberry Assassins when they pop at the ???. The Cryptonberry Assassins will take approximately 2-4 minutes to despawn.
- Once the NIN takes any damage, three Cryptonberry Assassins (BLM, SMN, THF) will spawn at the ???.
- The Tonberries helpers are very resistant to sleep.
- If you are far enough away from the ??? when you first do damage to the Cryptonberry Executor you can avoid getting any Enmity from the Cryptonberry Assassins.
- The Executor will use Mijin Gakure unless you kill it first; this can do up to 4000 damage each.
- The Assassins use Manafont, Astral Flow and Perfect Dodge.
- The NMs all /say something when they use their 2h.
- The Executor says "Through this we ssseek our just reward..."
- The Assassins say, "...Take up thy lanternsss. The truth we shall illuminate."
- Mijin Gakure can also be wasted by a person kiting it and staying out of range. The NIN will probably use Mijin Gakure around 3 minutes after he spawns Assassins.
- All Cryptonberry Assassins appear to despawn after Cryptonberry Executor uses Mijin Gakure, provided the NM is pulled far enough away (see below) and the Cryptonberry Assassins do not aggro.
- The SMN has a random elemental pet. It will often use the Astral Flow of the same element, so you can try that Barspell. Its Astral Flow does about 800 damage to a level 75 player unresisted. The pet can be slept/reposed.
- Note, the SMN Cryptonberry can summon TWO pets at once, so ignore his elemental, and be careful as he gets low on HP.
- The Executor has about 5000 HP.
- The SMN has a random elemental pet. It will often use the Astral Flow of the same element, so you can try that Barspell. Its Astral Flow does about 800 damage to a level 75 player unresisted. The pet can be slept/reposed.
- After the Tonberries are dead click the ??? again for a cutscene.
Make sure you do not defeat the Cryptonberry Executor until all 3 Cryptonberry Assassins despawn.
If you kill the Cryptonberry Executor while the Cryptonberry Assassins are still up, talking to the ??? will just result in a message a tree has fallen here, and you will have to zone and start over.
Misareaux Coast
- Head to Misareaux Coast and check a Storage Compartment in the shed at E-7 to spawn the NM bugard Boggelmann.
- Remember to Dispel its Defense Boost special (Scutum).
- It has about 7600 HP, and will use Blood Weapon at low health.
- Special Attack : Hungry Crunch -> Drain + Dispel Food + Drains TP.
- Bloody bolts will activate infrequently for little HP gain.
- After it is dead click the Storage Compartment again for a cutscene and a key item "Vessel of Light".
Finishing the Mission
- Talk to Cid in the Metalworks (H-8) for a cutscene.
- Talk to Sueleen in the Sealion's Den (H-6) for a cutscene.
