I have wanted to do this fight for a long time, i have allways wanted to get a Genbu's Shield for my redmage, i can also use it on bard and other jobs once they reach the level. We straight tanked it most of the time, but then we had to kite it arround when we had someone die, and when they got back to full HP, we got back on it. I will upload the video soon.
On the way their i was really excited about this fight, Thanks for everyone that came to help.. We dropped the sheild 1/1, which made twitchie a very happy taru ^^

Dynamis Sandoria + VNM + Abyssea NM Nahn (15 August 2010)
Today has been quite eventful, went into Dynamis with Obsidian Dynamis shell, although i didn't have any points on the way in i did end up coming out with a Clerics Cap. It seemed all smooth, the funniest part was when pretty much all of us got charmed and were spanking on one of the BLMs running around the fountain for about five minutes.
As i finished thechireru asked me to help him with a VNM, and of course it took a couple hours before the item we needed drop, we were running around Thangori Canyon for a while trying to find spawn points etc. all in all pretty fun killing stuff on my BRD for once. While this was going on Umezawa sent us a tell asking if we were intrested in doing a NM Crab in Abyssea, its fished up aparently... so i made my way down there with chireru and we entered La Thiene Abyssea.
We kite this bastard around the pond like we did with the othe Monkey NM. Well...... talk about deathga. aga spells tore through us, i was stuck with raising and barwater and water carol on the bunch of us. Nahn wasnt taking any excuses if you werent on your game, and that meant stoneskin up all the time, or barwater, you were going to feel it. From this fight i obtained muchos death and a Level down from 77 - 76 >< .

Notes:
- Fished up from both ponds at (H-7) as a monster.
- Successfully fished up with 0 fishing skill.
- Rods: Composite Fishing Rod, Lu Shang's Fishing Rod, Mithran Fishing Rod, Halcyon Rod, Ebisu Fishing Rod
- Bait: Lugworm, Minnow, Robber Rig, Little Worm, Fly Lure
- Nahn can be re-fished up almost, if not, immediately after his last death.
- Fished up 4 times in 90 mins.
Moves:
- Immune to Gravity and Silence.
- Susceptible to Paralyze, Slow, Blind, and DoT's.
- Metallic Body gives Nahn a very potent Stoneskin.
- Nahn's Metallic Body cannot be Dispelled.
- Will cast Flood repeatedly until it wears off.
- Flood when used by Nahn is AoE.
- Frequently uses Bubble Shower.
- Can cast Waterga II
We decided to have at the NM one more time. This time we added a couple members to the party, Ume Blu/Nin, Millgo Blm/Whm (Ran out of time), Twit Brd/Whm, Jaisawn Blm/Whm, Upbeat Rng/Sam, Thechireru changed to Rdm/Blm, and Slumberous stayed Pld/War.
Intrested in the result?....We got it down to 55% which is when we lost it the first time. so far so good. thats when the NM spams Chainspell ga spells. Upbeat goes down :(, still so far so good, 1 death is better than multiple, and Upbeat is a team player and is more than gladly willing to take the hit ^^.
We get the Kill :D - We Drop a Naguul. Congratulations Ume.

I recently hit level 61 COR doing Campaign battles, i was rolling around solo for a while until i ran into a Japanese player called Merumel, we were hitting a fortification about for a loong time lol. After a lot of deaths and raises i managed to get a couple Experience points from a couple campaign battles, until i got a party invite..... "OH THANK THE LORD". I ran up to Lower Jeuno and headed into the MMM arena.

The run started around 6:30 EST, so naturally it was 11:30 in England and i loaded up on Red Bull ready to stay awake for a few hours. We left Port Jeuno at 12:00 and began killing Mandies in Thangori. I have been in Abyssea partys for much longer than i stayed in this one, and have seen 600xp per kill, thats how i took my SMN from 75 - 80 and got 10/10 merits before hitting the hay.
I took my 75 Bard to 77 before gracefully passing out at around 3:00am my time.

I been promising Malkiar for a long time now that i would help him with Avatar runs, i been soloing them for him, but because of me being form the UK (now imagine me speaking this blog in an english accent why dont yah?), makes time very difficult for me to get shit done, i usually gotta stay up til arround 3am, but w/e im glad to help a friend, anyway back on topic. I had just finished helping Nipoco doing Genkai 3, and i hear my buddy malkiar on XBOX Chat and i ask him if he wants to get this final Avatar done, and he jumped at the idea. My buddy Lordwolf said he was down for doing it before he had to go to work. So the three of us set out for Kazham to get the Key Item necessary for Ifrit run. We arrive in Ifrits Cauldren with no trouble whatso, took an Ice Cluster to get past fire wall to minimize waiting around time.
I proceed to buff up my Redmage / Ninja. RINJA!!!
The Fight went smooth on my part, 2HR hit me for 0 Dmg, malkiar stood a wee bit to close and got hit for about 800dmg, and Lordwolf stupidly came /dnc (im just joking with ya wolf) so hit took a large some of damage. One again my Taru Ass Redmage had to save the day with a couple Cure IV's and we sailed malkiar through for an easy win, and a easy 10,000 gil.

The night started out like any other, watching a reasonably good film, in this case Crank II. I'm sitting around in my Mog House and i get a party invite, good chance to get my level 60 Corsair up so i can wear those newly earned Relic boots, but to my "/shock" and surprise, i receive a /tell from my buddy thechireru, Cuelebre you down? so haul my ass over to Jeuno and get my hands on some stones.
We get there, i go around the area to check if this thing is up, and surely enough it is. respawn time is said to be around 30 minutes. Thechireru goes for the pull, next thing i see is this big ass dragon rolling up. Party set up was, redmage, scholar, paladin, bluemage and ranger x2.
The fight lasted around twenty to twenty five minutes, keeping the mages with ballad and the paladin tanking with earth carol barstone etc. we cruised through to an easy win. Unlucky for millgo, even with the 63% drop rate on the dagger he wants, unfortunately we did get it this time >< .

We had spare time so we ran our ass over to La Theine abysea and decided to maul through Keesha Poppo. We also decided to check if the bird NM was up also, and it was so we hit it up and thechireru got his PLD sheild, all that remains is getting it to that 77 mark. SCREW YOU LEVEL CAP.

This is my first blog, not sure if any of you will "give a shit" what i write about, but its basically me keeping tabs on shit i get done, and so i don't forget the funny times i have playing this cluster fuck of a game, because after all, the good times are what keeps me playing.
